KUANTAN – The practice of visiting each other and holding open houses for every celebration can further strengthen interracial ties in the country.
Pahang Regent, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah also urged that the traditional practice be continued and reinforced among the younger generation to enable the people to continue to live in peace and harmony.
“This practice can unite the races in the country and enable them, particularly the people in Pahang, to live in harmony.
“People should also not condemn each other,” he told reporters after leaving for the LLT group Chinese New Year celebration here today.
The event was also attended by LLT Group (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd managing director Liew Leong Tat and director Datuk Veronica Liew as well as 300 guests. – BERNAMA
