KUALA LUMPUR – Online marketing service is gaining popularity among city folks, especially among working housewives.
Seeing the potential, Azeem Mohamed, 28, started his online marketing delivery service five months ago.
Using the concept “We Bring The Market To You”, his delivery business, PasarTap, prospered and is now sought after in the Klang Valley area.
Azeem said his business offered delivery service for perishable food like fish, meat and vegetable in the Klang Valley area at a fee of RM3.
“Our service is to make easier for housewives or working women, as well as others who are always busy to get their supply of perishable food,” he told Bernama here.
He said those in need of PasarTap service could surf its website at www.pasartap.com.
“We deliver perishable food like chicken and vegetables, which we obtain directly from local farmers and wholesale market so that we can offer reasonable price to our customers,” he added.
Meanwhile, Nur Diyana Mazlan, 28, who also runs an online marketing business, said it was from her experience being a housewife and a working woman that prompted her to offer such service.
She started the business five months ago, and now received an average of 100 orders a week.
She has two assistants to help prepare, including clean, the food stuff and three ‘runners’ to help with the delivery of the goods to her customers, who are in the Klang Valley and Bangi.
Nur Diyana said her daily routine started at 5 am when she would leave for the wholesale market to get her supplies.
The foodstuff has to be cleaned and wrapped before it is sent to the customers, she said.
She said the delivery charge would depend on the distance. – BERNAMA
