KUALA LUMPUR – The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) condemned the
Houthi militias attack on a United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) civilian ship near the
Bab el-Mandeb Strait off Yemen’s southern coast on Saturday.
In a statement, the OIC described the attack against the ship carrying
humanitarian assistance and evacuating wounded Yemeni civilians to the Emirates
for treatment as a “terrorist act.”
According to reports, all aboard the ship were rescued.

movement on international waterways guaranteed by international law and

and relief assistance to the Yemeni people, it said.
