KUALA LUMPUR – National diver, Nur Dhabitah Sabri failed to secure medal in the final leg of the 2018 Fina Diving World Series in Kazan, Russia, when she finished last in women’s 3m springboard finals, today.
The 18-year-old Kuala Lumpur diver ended in sixth place after only managing to accumulate 294.60 points in five dives in the finals at Kazan Aquatics Palace, according to International Swimming Federation (Fina) website, www.fina.org.
She had earlier advanced to the finals after finishing third in semi-final B with 320.10 points.
Diving powerhouse China continued their dominance by securing gold and silver through Rio Olympics champion Shi Tingmao (374.35 points) and Wang Han (355.05 points) respectively while Canada’s Jennifer Abel claimed the bronze with 338.55 points. – BERNAMA
