Actor Norman Hakim turned 40 in style by celebrating his birthday with Indian megastar Rajinikanth.
“Getting to shake his hand and having a chat with him is one of my sweetest memories,” said the Malaysian celebrity, who spent three weeks in January doing voice-over work for Kabali.
Despite the tight security, Norman apparently found ways to befriend Rajinikanth and recorded the special moment.
“Maybe it’s a blessing that I could meet him,” he said.
Mingguan Malaysia interviewed Norman and fellow actors Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan and Datuk Rosyam Nor, who were involved in the dubbing of the movie Kabali into Bahasa Malaysia.
They were in India for the voiceover work.
Norman, who voiced the character of a gangster named Ken, said the Kollywood star was always respectful to others, especially the elderly.
