KUALA LUMPUR – No Malaysians were affected by the fire at a South Korean hospital that killed at least 37 people, according to the Foreign Ministry.
In a statement today, the ministry said this was based on information received from local authorities through the Malaysian embassy in Seoul.
“No Malaysians were reported to be involved thus far in the incident,” it said.

Aside from those killed, more than 130 others were reported to have been injured in Friday’s fire at Sejong Hospital in the south-eastern city of Miryang. – BERNAMA
