TAYLOR Swift  invited rival Nicki Minaj to join her on stage after they descended into a HUGE Twitter spat recently – but we never expected the rapper to accept the offer.
But the pair buried the hatchet tonight as they performed Bad Blood together at the MTV VMAs – finishing with a huge hug.
Suddenly everything is right in the world again.
Minaj opened the show with Trini Dem Girls, before Taylor joined her for The Night Is Still Young, and ending together on Tay’s hit Bad Blood.
It comes after the pair made peace following an angry row online.
Nicki – who has been nominated for Best Female Video, Best Collaboration and Best Hip Hop video – took umbrage with the fact she was not up for the prestigious Video Of The Year award.
Instead Beyonce, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift, Mark Ronson and Kendrick Lamar will be battling it out for the title.
Shortly after the news was announced a disappointed Nicki tweeted: “If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year.”
While she didn’t directly mention Taylor in her message, the pop star clearly felt it was directed at her.
So not holding back Taylor tweeted AT Nicki: “@NickiMinaj I’ve done nothing but love and support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot…”:
Nicki fired back: “Huh? U must not be reading my tweets. Didn’t say a word about u. I love u just as much.”
She added: “But you should speak on this @taylorswift13.”
It’s all over now thank goodness – but you can catch up on that whole row here. – Mirror
