KUALA LUMPUR – The examination time-table for the KAFA assessment test ‘Ujian Penilaian Kelas KAFA’ or (UPKK) for 2017 has been re-scheduled following a break-in at the Education Division of the Melaka Islamic Religious Department (JAIM) office yesterday.
Three question papers for three subjects were reported missing in the incident.
Malaysian Islamic Development Department (Jakim) director Tan Sri Othman Mustapha said the incident, however, would not affect the dates of the examination which had been scheduled from Oct 2 to 5.
“This is because Jakim has prepared a second set of questions for the subjects concerned and the rescheduling of the examination time-table is to ensure a smooth UPKK 2017 examination,” he said in a statement here today.
The new time-table for UPKK 2017 is as follows:
MONDAY (Oct 2) 2.15 pm to 3.45 pm – SIRAH 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm – ADAB (AKHLAK ISLAMIYAH) I
TUESDAY (Oct 3) 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm – LUGHAH AL-QURAN
WEDNESDAY (Oct 4) 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm – ULUM SYARI’AH (AQIDAH DAN IBADAH) 4.15 pm to 5.15 pm – ADAB (AKHLAK ISLAMIYAH) II
THURSDAY (Oct 5) 2.30 pm to 4 pm – PELAJARAN JAWI DAN KHAT
Meanwhile, Othman said JAIM had lodged a report on the break-in.
“Jakim apologises for any inconvenience caused,” he said. – BERNAMA
