Netizens Outraged By Zamani Slam’s Lock-Up Bullying Video

A video of former ’90s singer,Zamani Slam, singing while in lock-up detention over drug abuse, went viral and caused furor among fans.

In the clip, a handcuffed Zamani was recorded singing his most well-known hit, Gerimis Mengundang, assumed to be bullied into agreeing to be documented by an irresponsible

Towards the end of the clip, he can be seen motioning with his hands urging the videographer to stop recording, which clearly indicated that he succumbed to the pressures of the unknown officer.

On the Internet, netizens sharpen their claws and condemned the unethical production of the video, suggesting the authorities rile up the culprit who spread the clip on the Internet to be hauled up to face the law.
Despite his drug troubles, Zamani proved to retain his fan base when social media users praised the melodious vocal that launched his career a while ago.
The video was first posted online by Anak Jati Paroi Facebook page, and quickly shared 2,000 times over a span of mere hours.
In light of the demeaning clip’s release, the Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar has posted a tweet prompting investigations to be launched to nab the persons behind its makings.

Zamani was arrested along with a female companion for allegedly possessing illegal narcotics.

Police also seized a packet consisting what believed to be heroin in one of the room in Taman Keramat, Ampang where the duo was nabbed.

Upon questioning the suspect admitted to police of being a substance user mainly Syabu and Heroin for the last 10 years.

The suspect also reveald the name of his drug dealer who was also picked up later for investigations under Section 39A(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
