GEORGE TOWN – Police are looking for a Nepali man to assist investigation on the death of an Indonesian woman whose decaying body was found in a cupboard in a house at Flat Green Garden, Air Itam here last Monday.

Timur Laut district police chief ACP Anuar Omar identified the Nepali man as Sadip Gurung, 27, who works at a factory in Bayan Lepas, and believed to be the victim’s boyfriend.

He urged those with information on the man or his whereabout to contact Investigating officer ASP Mohd Khalil Khalid at 019-4116656 or the nearest police station.

The body of Santi Restauli Simbolan, 25, was found by Sadip’s housemates after they He said Santi was discovered by her boyfriend’s housemates at 10pm yesterday after they noticed a foul stench coming from the room.
