SINGAPORE: Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh and her husband are reportedly stranded in Nepal, following an earthquake that shook the country on Saturday.
On Sunday, world motor sport governing body FIA (Federation Internationale De L’Automobile) released a statement to say that it held its inaugural Asia-Pacific Sport Regional Congress in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu, and that members who attended include its president Jean Todt and road safety ambassador Michelle Yeoh.
Yeoh is famous for her co-starring roles in the 1997 James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies and in 2000’s phenomenally successful Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
The statement added that all members of the FIA party and Congress delegates are safe and accounted for. – The Straits Times/Asia News Network
