MELAKA – Selangor’s talented midfielder, Muhammad Nazmi Faiz Mansor must be smart in controlling his emotion on the field to avoid from facing problems such as getting the red card.
Selangor’s head coach, Zainal Abidin Hassan said that football was a team sport and Muhammad Nazmi Faiz, 21, must know that his failure to control his emotion would place pressure on the team.
“Nazmi should know that the red card is a burden to the team, it’s most important that he knows and this is the last time I am appealing (on the red card), he must be more disciplined on the field,” he told reporters, here last night.
He was approached after the match between the Police (PDRM) and Selangor at the Stadium Hang Jebat, Krubong here which ended in a 0-0 draw.
Muhammad Nazmi Faiz was shown the red card in the 70th minute for roughing up PDRM import Andre Francisco Williams.
Commenting on last night’s game, Zainal Abidin said Selangor missed three valuable points as they were capable of controlling play and had many chances before Muhammad Nazmi Faiz was sent off the field.
