KUALA LUMPUR – Nasi Lemak Spring Roll will be among the special dishes for Malay food lovers this Ramadan.
Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre executive chef Richmond Lim said Nasi Lemak Spring Roll is a dish created by Chef Amir Mohamad, the Malay food assistant chef in their kitchen.
“It is served with popia skin and some dried prawns to add flavour to the dish, which will be in out latest menu for this Ramadan,” he told Bernama here.
In line with the theme, ‘Village in a City’, other dishes to be served include ‘gulai kawah’ and ‘laksa lemak daging tetel’ or Nyonya Laksa.
“Our customers will also get to enjoy food prepared from our ‘Chef stations’ like mi goreng mamak fried mee, Penang fried kuetiau, Hainan chicken rice, asam laksa, roti bom and Hari Raya specialties, like rendang tok, nasi impit, sate and ketupat,” he added.
He said there would also be a station serving fried delicacies, like fried banana, fried cempedak and fried keropok lekor, as well as local kuih, cakes and fresh fruits.
The price of the Ramadan buffet package is RM115 per pax for adults and RM57.50 for children.
For those who prefer contemporary and international dishes, they have options like the Hyderabad grilled lamb with Pakistan beriani rice, Arabic mince meat kebab, grilled fish, Italian pasta and seafood.
