KUALA LUMPUR – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak paid a visit to Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia who is being treated at the Serdang Hospital, today.
According to his official Twitter account, Najib uploaded a picture of his visit to Pandikar Amin who had just underwent a minor heart surgery yesterday.
“Let’s pray for his recovery, Insya-Allah,” said Najib.
The Prime Minister spent 30 minutes with Pandikar Amin after he arrived at about 3pm.
Press secretary to Pandikar Amin, Rena Yusof said the former was warded after he went through a check-up at noon.
“He went to the hospital for a medical check-up and a doctor discovered he had infection in his heart.
“The doctors later performed a minor surgery immediately and he is now in stable condition,” she said when contacted by Bernama here today.
Rena said the hospital had yet to inform when Pandikar Amin would be discharged. – BERNAMA
