KUALA LUMPUR – Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today visited 2H Auto Workshop in Kampung Baru, a workshop operated by a disabled person.
Dressed in a white shirt, the prime minister arrived at the workshop at about 1pm accompanied by the workshop operator and several workers.
In his Facebook posting, Najib wrote: A while ago I visited 2H Auto Workshop in Kampung Baru operated by Zaharul, one of the most successful disabled entrepreneurs.
He said the workshop has benefited from the National Entrepreneurial Group Economic Fund (Tekun Nasional), which aims to help Bumiputeras to start or develop their business.
Four photographs uploaded on Facebook showed Najib being briefed by the workshop operator, observing a vehicle being repaired and posing with the operator and the workers, mostly consisting of disabled persons.
Meanwhile, another entry on Najib’s Facebook account showed him enjoying lunch with several Tekun entrepreneurs at Restoran Matahari in Kampung Baru. – BERNAMA
