BANGKOK – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, who is here to attend the sixth Malaysia-Thailand Annual Consultation, today performed the Friday prayer at Ban Oou Mosque here.
With him were Education Minister Datuk Seri Mahdzir Khalid, Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Shabery Cheek and International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed.
After the prayer, the prime minister made a personal contribution to the mosque, which was received by the mosque Imam, Elias Ahmad.
The prime minister and wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, arrived here last night from Vientiane, Laos, after attending the ASEAN Summit.
He is leading a Malaysian delegation of seven ministers, as well as senior officials, at the sixth Malaysia-Thai Annual Consultation later today.
Thailand’s delegation to the consultation will be headed by Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha. -BERNAMA
