PUTRAJAYA – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today launched three books published by the Institute of Mind Analysis Malaysia (Inmind), at the Putra Perdana building, here, today.
The three books are respectively titled “Manual Aplikasi Seni Peperangan Rasulullah SAW Untuk Pengurusan Organisasi” (Application Manual of the Prophet’s Art of War for Organisational Management”, “Kaedah-Kaedah Membuat Keputusan Secara Islam” (The Islamic Methods of Making Decisions) and “Manual Penyelidikan Secara Islam” (Islamic Research Manual).
The prime minister, in his speech at the launch, said the publication of the books was apt and they should be read and their contents put into practice by Umno members and Muslims in general.
Najib, who is also Umno president, said what was important was the preparedness of Umno members and Muslims, and one of the dimensions was acquiring and improving knowledge, besides focusing on religious faith and adherence to Islamic rulings.
“Without knowledge, we may not be able to be successful and excellent people,” he said.
The prime minister said the Islamic religion did not forbid the pursuit of knowledge from all aspects.
Najib said the Prophet’s knowledge of war which was full of useful lessons if understood well, could help Umno members win the political battle, especially in preparing the party to face various challenges.
Also present at the launch were Home Minister and Umno training bureau chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Terengganu Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Razif Abdul Rahman and Selangor Umno liaison chief Datuk Seri Noh Omar.
In his speech, Ahmad Zahid said the books would be fully used by the bureau for its training programme.
In the “Manual Aplikasi Seni Peperangan Rasulullah SAW Untuk Pengurusan Organisasi”, the authors, Aidit Ghazali, Ahmad Syahir Sarani and Izhan Hamidi Ibrahim focus on the art of thinking and highlight the strategies of 28 wars led by the Prophet.
The book on “Kaedah-Kaedah Membuat Keputusan Secara Islam’ by Aidit Ghazali, Ahmad Syahir Sarani and Mohd Affendi Othman lists 250 methods based on Islamic principles and considerations in making decisions.
The “Manual Penyelidikan Islam” written by Aidit Ghazali and Ahmad Syahir Sarani, on the other hand, suggests the steps that can be taken to effectively conduct research from the Islamic perspective. – BERNAMA
