KOTA KINABALU: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak arrived here Sunday for a one-day working visit to Sabah.
Najib, who was accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor arrived by a special aircraft at Terminal 2, Kota Kinabalu International Airport at 10.13 am.
On hand to meet him was Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman; deputy chief ministers Tan Sri Joseph Pairin Kitingan, Datuk Seri Yahya Hussin and Datuk Raymond Tan Shu Kiah; cabinet ministers; heads of federal and state government departments and community leaders.
Najib is scheduled to officiate at the ground-breaking of the Kampung Pirasan People’s Housing Project (PPR) in Kota Belud at 11.30 am.
Later he will proceed to Tawau to attend the Sabah’s People Solidarity Assembly with the Prime Minister at Padang Perbandaran Tawau.
Najib is scheduled to attend a special meeting with state leaders before departing for Kuala Lumpur at 9 pm.
