BACHOK – The three family members who were found murdered in a house turned into a hardware store in Taman Bahagia, Wakaf Mek Zainab, Kota Bharu, last Wednesday, were buried at a cemetery in Kampung Merabang here, today.
About 200 family members, friends and villagers accompanied the bodies of Kha Eng Ni, 42, his wife, Chua Joo Seok, 43, and their son, Thu Zee Hanz, 13, to the cemetery.
Also present at the funeral ceremony were the couple’s three other children, eldest daughter Kha Xing Fei, 19, second daughter Kha Xing Rhuu, 15, and youngest son Kha Xiang Shyen, 8.
Meanwhile, Kelantan CID chief ACP Mohd Fakri Che Sulaiman, when contacted, said the police were looking for a man, identified as Sharat a/l Eh Wang@Pot, 31, believed to be working with the couple, to facilitate investigation.
He did not rule out the possibility of the murder suspect having fled to a neighbouring country and would get the assistance of the Thai police to track him down.
He said revenge was suspected to be the motive behind the killings. – BERNAMA
