KOTA BAHARU: Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin arrived at the Sultan Ismail Petra Pengkalan Chepa Airport here at 9 am for a one-day working visit to Kelantan.
Muhyiddin, who was met on arrival by International Trade and Industry Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed, will attend the Kelantan state post-flood special meeting at the meeting room of the Kelantan Selatan Development Board Office (Kesedar) in Dabong, Kuala Krai and to be followed by a visit to the temporary settlement for flood victims.
Later Muhyiddin, who is also Education Minister, will visit Sekolah Kebangsaan Dabong and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dabong, which were affected by the floods.
In the afternoon, Muhyiddin will visit Kampung Kusial in Tanah Merah and inspect the progress of the permanent housing site’s construction for flood victims in the vicinity.
He will also attend the handing over of economical recovery aid for flood victims at SMK Tanah Merah I. – Bernama
