GEORGE TOWN – At least 10 spots in Penang were inundated after heavy rain with
strong winds struck the island since 7pm this evenng.
According to a Penang Fire and Rescue Department spokesman, the areas
flooded included Lorong Batu Lanchang, Jalan P Ramlee, Sungai Pinang, Jalan
Taman Free School, Jalan Bukit Relau, Sungai Ara, Paya Terubong, Greenlane,
Jalan Masjid Negeri, Sungai Nibong, Bukit Jambul and Farlim.
