KUALA LUMPUR: BP Healthcare Group, a private healthcare provider, launched a mobile Uber healthcare application Wednesday.
Dubbed Doctor2U, the application is accessible to anyone requesting a Malaysian registered qualified doctor to your door step, via iPhone and Android mobile devices, in under 60 minutes.
The founder of the application, who is also BP Healthcare Group IT vice-president, Garvy Beh said by bringing back the old-school traditional house call techniques and combining it with mobile technology, healthcare service is optimised in a different level.
“We have a panel of licensed medical officers and specialists aimed at helping to attend a patient’s sickness and provide immediate medical attention. If need be, for critical cases, Doctor2U will admit the patient to a hospital.
“Just by tapping a button on your mobile phone, medical service is rendered at your doorstep,” he said in a statement today.
Doctor2U is available round-the-clock, with the charge of a fixed rate of RM300 from (8am to 8pm) and RM500 (8pm to 8am) per request.
