Malaysia will assist in sending the next-of-kins (NOKs) of those onboard Malaysian Airlines Flight MH17 to see the planeâ€™s wreckage.
Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said the government will definitely send the NOKs to the Netherlands if they were invited.
He however did not specify how many NOKs would be sent.
“We welcome such a move.
“It is good that the NOKs can participate,” he told reporters here this morning.
The Dutch Safety Board (DSB) will, from March 3, attend to families of victims invited to the Royal Netherlands Air Force base in Gilze-Rijen, about 45km from Eindhoven.
The DSB will allow them to look at the pieces of wreckage investigators had recovered from the crash site in Donetsk, Ukraine, where it was shot.-NST
