MAS said flight MH1 which departed on Friday, Oct 20 (UK time) returned to the airport after an hour due to a problem with the “water supply system” onboard the aircraft.
“Engineers were on standby to rectify the problem as soon as the aircraft landed,” it said in a statement on Saturday.
MAS also said due to an airport curfew and crew flight duty period constraints, the flight will be rescheduled to a new departure time, which would be advised later.
