MELAKA – Melaka United may undergo a makeover when the M-League resumes after the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations says team manager Datuk Mohd Yusoff MahadI.
According to Mohd Yusoff immediate changes were required in the areas of coaching and players to ensure Melaka United remained competitive when the Super League resumes.
“We will be making a decision about head coach Eric Williams’ replacement by next week after considering the views of the management, players and experts in the field,” he told Bernama when contacted today.
Mohd Yusoff said a number of local and foreign coaches were under the radar of the Melaka United team management and association while a number of foreign players would also be replaced to strengthen the squad.
He said among names in the local list of coaches include Mohd Azraai Khor Abdullah, K. Devan and Datuk K. Rajagobal.
“I wish to thank the local coaches who had responded positively when asked to assist the team,” he said.
The foreign players in the team are Ilija Spasojeivc, Sergio Aguero and Godwin Antwi.
