KUALA TERENGGANU: Terengganu Menteri Besar Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman Wednesday chaired the weekly meeting of the state executive council as usual.
Ahmad Razif, who has been stripped of all state titles, arrived at Wisma Darul Iman in his official car at 9.25am and greeted reporters who had been waiting there from 8.30am.
A cheerful Ahmad Razif then entered the meeting room.
All nine state executive councillors were there for the meeting.
A statement issued on Monday by the Comptroller of the Royal Household, Office of His Royal Highness the Sultan of Terengganu, said Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin had stripped Ahmad Razif of all state awards bestowed on him effective April 22.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak also said on Monday that he would have an audience soon with the sultan and that the state government administration was functioning normally.
