SOMEONE who claims to be the man behind the scrap with Justin Bieber has come forward.
Lamont Richmond took to Facebook to give his side of the story after a video surfaced of Bieber and a much larger man engaging in a fist fight in Cleveland after watching the NBA Finals.
Hours after the video came to light, towering 6’5″ Richmond posted a video claiming he was just trying to get an autograph from the 22-year-old star.
“Yo check. The fool ran up on me. I was with the girls. We just asked him for an autograph. I don’t know about all this other stuff y’all talking about. I’ve got nothing else to say,” he says in the video shared on Facebook.
While in the video of the fight, obtained by TMZ , Bieber can be seen face-to-face with the man, who shoves the star in the head before appearing to take a punch to the face.
Both men then start trading blows and grappling, with onlookers trying to separate them as they fall to the floor.
Bieber later laughed off the incident by posting a selfie on his Instagram account to his 70 million followers, along with the caption: “Not a scratch on this pretty boy!”
The scrap comes a month after Bieber was reportedly spotted knocking back shots and standing on top of a bar while racking up a $2,400 tab.
The pop superstar – who was seen walking round Boston barefoot before the incident in May – was partying at Storyville nightclub in the city after a huge show on his Purpose world tour, and he was clearly in a celebratory mood.
In a video taken by The LausSquared Events during the night, the Canadian crooner – who recently told fans he is done taking pictures and being treated like a “zoo animal” – can be seen downing what is said to be tequila shots.
According to TMZ , a rep for 6one7 Promotions said he bought around $2,400 worth of vodka and tequila during the night.
Earlier in the night, Bieber is said to have kicked off his evening at The Tam, where he was “super nice” to fellow customers and even ordered shots of Fireball for a table. – Daily Mirror
