SUNGAI PETANI – Police have detained three men to assist investigation in connection with the death of a man, who was believed to have been attacked by a group of men, in a house in Taman Keladi near early today.
Kuala Muda district police chief Supt Saifi Abdul Hamid said police were tracking down the remaining suspects.
He said the victim, in his 30s, was found dead with slash and stab wounds on several parts of the body in a bedroom in the house at 12.20 am today.
The body had been sent to the Sultan Abdul Halim Hospital for post mortem.
On the three suspects who were arrested, he said they would be in remand until Oct 4 to facilitate investigation. – BERNAMA
