JITRA – The father of a woman who became viral on social sites after she allegedly committed suicide in Utradit, Bangkok, today denied the incident ever happened.
Instead, Juhari Osman, 64, said his daughter Nurulhuda Juhari, 33, was very much alive and had never lived in that neighbouring country.
Nurulhuda’s Mykad picture went viral on Facebook and WhatsApp after she was alleged to have shot and killed herself and her son because she was depressed and disappointed after finding out that her husband had an affair with other woman.
Juhari said he believed that the picture of his daughter’s Mykad was being circulated on the social media by certain quarters who were out to defame her and her whole family.
“She just lost her MyKad. My daughter and my six-year-old grandson are still alive and we are deeply saddened and emotionally disturbed by this slanderous act,” he said when met at his house in Kampung Tok Jalai today.
However, Nurulhuda who was still traumatised by the whole incident, refused to meet the media. – BERNAMA
