SINGAPORE – Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datuk Seri Rohani Abdul Karim today began a three-day visit to Singapore to look at best practices in handling target groups such as women, children, the disabled, the elderly and families.
A ministry statement said Rohani was expected to call on Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin and Speaker of Parliament Halimah Yaacob.
She is scheduled to visit NTUC Eldercare; Society for the Physically Disabled and Singapore Council of Womenâ€™s Organisations, it said.
Rohani is also scheduled to meet with members of the Malaysians in Singapore Association (MASIS) which represents the Malaysian diaspora in the republic, it added. – BERNAMA
