KUCHING – The MalaysiaBiz Portal, a local portal that provides registration and licensing information to facilitate the business community in starting their ventures is expected to be fully ready by this year’s end.
Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (Mampu) director general Datuk Seri Zainal Rahim Seman said at present this portal had provided information on a range of licensing authorities for 1,174 business activities in various economic fields.
“Since it was launched, the MalaysiaBiz portal has received overwhelming response. We are still doing another 30 per cent to key in all the information from Sabah and Sarawak,” he said.
He said this at a media conference after the Sarawak Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem and Integrity Collaborative Programme, Licence Information Friends Appointment certificate presentation here today.
Also present were Sarawak federal secretary Datuk Mohd Zuki Ali and Sarawak deputy state secretary Datu Dr Sabariah Putit.
Zainal Rahim said the Companies Commission of Malaysia and several other agencies were also streamlining their work processes system to be uploaded to the MalaysiaBiz portal to create a comprehensive integration system.
“The comprehensive integration system between the business portal and the portal that approved the licence is expected to be completed fully in 2018,” he added. -BERNAMA
