KUALA LUMPUR – Felda United maintained its unbeaten record and top spot in the
Super League table after beating Terengganu II (T-Team) 2-0 at the Tun Abdul
Razak Stadium in Maran, last night.
Felda United under the tutelage of former National coach Irfan Bakti, had to
thank Mohd Hadin Azman who scored a brace in the 30th and 76th minutes to ensure
all three points.
In Kuala Terengganu, defending Super League champion Johor Darul Ta’zim
(JDT) beat Terengganu 2-0 at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium to stay in
second spot with seven points, edging Selangor on goal difference.
Speedy striker S Chanturu struck the opening goal for JDT in the 27th minute
before Argentine import Jorge Pereyra Diaz made it 2-0 five minutes later.
JDT and Selangor have seven points from three matches while league leader
Felda United have nine points from three matches.
In Kuantan, Malaysia Cup champion Selangor came from behind to convincingly
beat Pahang 3-1 at the Darul Makmur Stadium with goals coming from Patrick
Ronaldinho Wleh in the 35th and 44th minutes while R. Gopinathan added the third
in the 66th minute.
Mohd Faisal Abdul Halim had given Pahang a flying start in the 12th minute
but failed to maintain the tempo.
In IPOH, visitors Kedah managed to hold Perak to a goalless draw at the
