PUTRAJAYA – Malaysia is saddened to learn of the death of Kayla Mueller, an American humanitarian aid worker who was taken captive by ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) militants in 2013, and reportedly killed in Syria.
The Foreign Ministry said this is a statement issued, here, today over Mueller’s death.
“Malaysia expresses its deep sympathy and condolences to the family of Kayla Mueller and the government of the United States.
“May her family be given the strength and courage in this difficult time,” the statement said. – BERNAMA
