KUALA LUMPUR – Attorney-General’s Chambers Appellate and Trial Division deputy head, Anthony Kevin Morais, who was found murdered on Wednesday, will be immortalised at the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy’s Moot Court.
Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) deputy chief commissioner (operations) Datuk Seri Mohd Shukri Abdull said the academy would be named the Kevin Morais Moot Court, following a decision by the MACC top management.
In a statement today, he said a special ceremony to remember Morais’ contributions would be held on Oct 1, in conjunction with MACC’s 48th anniversary.
“The entire MACC work force respects the high dedication shown by Morais throughout his service with MACC,” he said.
Mohd Shukri said the Moot Court was administered by the academy’s school of law and prosecution, which provided legal training programmes for MACC officers undergoing basic training in law and investigation. – BERNAMA
