KUALA LUMPUR – Two Bukit Aman special task force for anti-vice, gaming and gangsterism (STAGG) officers have been remanded for four days following the seizure of cash by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) amounting to more than RM1.5 million on Thursday.
MACC deputy chief commissioner (Operations) Datuk Seri Azam Baki confirmed the case when contacted by Bernama.
MACC detained the two officers at an automobile workshop in Subang Jaya around 1 pm and seized RM341,000 in cash.
The arrest led to seizure of more cash and a number of luxury cars at the condominium of a suspect and at the office of STAGG at Kuala Lumpur Police Training Centre. – BERNAMA
