Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and we bet your missus has grown tired of the usual bouquet she gets every year, right?
If jewellery and exotic vacations are way out of the question, why not present her with an LED flower bouquet for that extra bling.
“For a dramatic and romantic twist, the couple should take it to places like the cinema or a candlelit dinner where the LED lights could turn out better,†said businessman Edmund Tio Chong Li, 29, tells The Star Online.
Take her to poorly-lit places, check.
Tio, who has sold about 350 of the bouquets, said he was proud that his idea had become a hit.
He said he wanted romantics to experience a different kind of celebration with his custom-made bouquets, which also come with chocolates and teddy bears.
It took him about three months to do the design for each bouquet, Tio said when met at his kiosk in Sutera Mall here yesterday.
“For the teddy bear bouquets, there is a built-in voice recorder in which customers can record their voices and play it later when they switch on the LED lights.
With over 10 cutesy teddy bear variants to choose from– Tio said the top-sellers were Doraemon, Domo, Hello Kitty and Winnie The Pooh– and price range starts from RM25.90 to RM400.
The teddy bears, which have built-in LED lights and voice recorders, were imported from countries including Taiwan, China and Thailand, Tio said.
“You can also customise the bouquet to suit your budget and preference,†he said.-MYNEWSHUB.CC/Image Credit: The Star
