KOTA KINABALU – Pensiangan member of parliament Tan Sri Joseph Kurup wants the government-appointed company responsible for maintenance of village roads in Sook, to do its job promptly.
“This is important to ensure that the roads remain in good condition, and to avoid deterioration which would hinder the economic avtivities of the residents,” stressed Kurup who is a Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department.
In a statement today, Kurup who is also Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah president, said facilities such as roads, community halls and other public infrastructures were provided by the Barisan Nasional for the well-being of the people.
Meanwhile, he cautioned the people against being lured by the opposition with empty sweet promises. – BERNAMA
