PUTRAJAYA – Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa joined more than 2,000 civil servants from the various departments and agencies here at the ‘Senamrobik [email protected] Sukan Negara’ exercise in conjunction with the National Sports Day Saturday.
Also present were Director-General of the Public Service Department, Tan Sri Mohamad Zabidi Zainal, Director-General of the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU) Datuk Seri Zainal Rahim Seman and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovations, Datuk Seri Noorul Ainur Mohd Nur.
The event at the Kompleks C compound here began at 9 am with aerobic exercises and karate demonstrations.
At 10.10 am, Ali performed the oficial opening by performing Muay Thai moves together with Mohamad Zabidi.
The Public Service Department said in a statement that the programme, ‘Senamrobik Ceria’ could foster the spirit of solidarity, promote national economic development through the sports industry and enhance sports knowledge among civil servants. – BERNAMA
