LABUAN – The Labuan office of the domestic trade, cooperatives and consumerism ministry (KPDNKK) today became the 12th government agency to sign the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR).
Led by its director, Arun Fadzillah Hamdan, more than 20 enforcement officers, including enforcement chief, Mohd Fikri Lai Abdullah took their oath verbally before Labuan MACC director Abdulamin Abdillah.
After the pledge, the enforcement division chiefs signed on the IBR document, with Abdulamin signing off as the witness.
Abdulamin said a total of 12 government agencies had so far, joined forces to sign the corruption-free pledge, vowing to keep their squad clean of graft.
He said the IBR by the government agencies involved here was their own initiative with no reminder, request or advice form the MACC. – BERNAMA
