Khairul Hafiz Shatters National 100m Record At Sukma

KUCHING: Malacca sprinter Khairul Hafiz Jantan created history in Sukma by breaking the national 100m record with the time of 10.18.

He beat Watson Nyambek’s record of 10.30 set in 1998 in Kuala Lumpur.

Badrul Hisyam Abdul Manap, also of Malacca, settled for silver medal with 10.36 while Sarawak’s Jonathan Nyepa, who crossed the line with the same time, was awarded the bronze after photo decision.
