ALOR SETAR – The Kedah state government is confident that its land revenue collection will increase following its move to introduce mobile counter services in four areas in the state.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir said the four mobile counters for land revenue collection would be operating in four high density areas namely Kota Setar, Kulim, Baling and Kuala Muda.
“We received complaints previously on the difficulties in making payments because of the distance involved and others, but now with the mobile counters, payment would be easier and I am confident that land revenue collection in the state will also increase,” he said.
Speaking to reporters after launching the mobile land revenue collection counter at Wisma Darul Aman, here, he urged the people to fully utilise the mobile service counter. – BERNAMA
