KUALA LUMPUR: The Kampung Baru Development Corporation is in the midst of determining the land value of the Malay enclave, Parliament was told.
Federal Territories Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Loga Bala Mohan said the corporation, together with six professional land valuators have set up a technical working group to come up with suggestions on the suitable land value there.
“In the meantime, several projects are in the pipeline including four under construction and nine pending planning approval. The corporation is responsible to ensure that the potential projects can be expedited, including organising discussions with technical agencies like Tenaga Nasional Bhd,” he said in response to a question by Datuk Johari Abdul Ghani (BN-Titiwangsa).
“2015 is the implementation phase for the Kampung Baru Detailed Development Master Plan and the corporation is having discussions for the setting up of a special- body responsible for the execution of the developments in Kampung Baru.”-NST
