KUALA LUMPUR – Johor UMNO is committed in further strengthening the party and maintaining its progressive and moderate course.
Its Liaison chief Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin, who is also Johor Menteri Besar, said consensus would serve to make UMNO a much better, stronger and united party.
“The party must regain its strength and trustworthiness. We should not disunite. We should not allow any friction among us to destroy the party,” he said in a statement here, today.
He said the Malay race must continue to be the most important instrument in steering itself towards progress and should seek an inclusive and the best way to resolve every dispute.
Mohamed Khaled also advised delegates at the UMNO General Assembly 2015 to observe discipline and politeness.
“Don’t ever allow your emotions to dictate your actions, which would damage the party,” he said. – BERNAMA
