JOHOR BAHRU – Johor police have confirmed the arrest of Persatuan Anak Peneroka Felda (Anak) chairman, Mazlan Aliman who was a former Parti Amanah Negara Supreme Council member at his house in Felda Bukit Ramun, Kulai at about 1.30am.
Johor CID chief SAC Kamaluddin Kassim said Mazlan, 52, was detained for investigation under Section 233 of the Malaysia Communications and Multimedia Act 1998 and Section 500 of the Penal Code.
“The arrested person was brought to Kulai district police headquarters (IPD) for investigation and will be handed over to Bukit Aman Police Special Investigation Unit,” he said in a statement here today.
Earlier at noon, Amanah Johor chairman Aminolhuda Hassan said Mazlan’s arrest maybe linked to a police report lodged by the Prime Minister’s wife Datin Seri Rosmah through her counsel, Noor Hajran Mohd Noor at Sentul IPD in Kuala Lumpur on Monday.
The police report was lodged by Rosmah on Monday following a video uploaded on YouTube entitled “ Mazlan Aliman Amanah-Pecah Rahsia: Isteri Najib Razak di belakang Projek Ikan Sturgeon yg Lingkup” ( Mazlan Aliman Amanah – Expose Secret : Najib Razak’s Wife behind failed Sturgeon Project).
The video, according to Rosmah had smeared her reputation and integrity as it openly accused her of being involved in the Sturgeon Farming project. – BERNAMA
