JOHOR BAHRU – Several individuals are expected to be charged in connection with an alleged corruption and embezzlement of property case in Johor soon, said Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (Operations) deputy commissioner Datuk Azam Baki.
In confirming the case, he said MACC and the Deputy Public Prosecutor was in the process of streamlining some elements of the investigation.
“I will not disclose the names of these individuals. Suffice to say that those who will be charged are among those who have been arrested pertaining to the case,” he said.
He told this to reporters when met after attending a joint operation meeting with MACC Investigations director Datuk Simi Abd Ghani and Johor MACC director Datuk Azmi Alias. – BERNAMA
