JEREMY Clarkson and Jodie Kidd were snapped laughing and chatting together over lunch yesterday, as speculation continues over a possible replacement for the host on Top Gear.
Jodie has previously been tipped as a favourite to take his place on the motoring show, and even hinted she’d consider a job offer as she refused to deny rumours she’s in the line-up to take his place.
The pair were snapped laughing together in a West London pub, appearing unfazed by the cameras nearby.
Wearing a leather jacket and sunglasses, the blonde star appeared relaxed opposite Jeremy – who opted for a checked shirt and sipped on a glass of wine.
Jodie is a renowned car fan and was previously the 3-1 favourite to be Top Gear’s next presenter ahead of Steve Coogan, Chris Evans, Dermot O’Leary and more, according to Coral.
The star previously said she would be up for her name being thrown into the hat to replace Jeremy on James Martin on Saturday Kitchen.
She said: “Why not? Yes! I’m sure we can get two people to sign a petition.â€
Last year however she said: “I couldn’t join those boys. No, God no.â€
She added: “Jezza’s outspoken and opinionated but I’ve never had a problem with him.
“Even though I’m a better driver than him.â€
Jodie previously held the record for the fastest time in the feature Star In A Reasonably Priced Car.
Jeremy was sacked from the BBC show a few weeks ago after a “fracas” with one of the show’s producers following filming.
