KUALA LUMPUR – “There is nothing that I wish for this year except for my wife’s safe return,” said Ruzilan Omar, 58, husband of Jashiah Rabu, 54, who has been missing for almost three months.
Jashiah, a mother of four and principal of Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Keramat Satu was last seen by neighbours leaving her house at Taman Seri Seruling on Oct 23 last year.
She was said to be heading for Bukit Kutu Forest Reserve, a 10-kilometre distance away, on foot as well as hitching a ride.
Ruzilan said his family had never given up and had kept praying for her safety.
“We perform the solat hajat (prayer of need) regularly and ask for her safety and good health.”
“We miss her dearly and hope she will return home some day soon,” Ruzilan told Bernama.
Meanwhile, Hulu Selangor district police chief Supt R. Supramaniam said police were still investigating and making regular search around Kuala Kubu Baru area to locate the woman.
“So far we have not found any new clues,” he said while urging the public with information on Jashiah to report at the nearest police station. – BERNAMA
