Jamal Remanded For Three Days

KUALA LUMPUR – Sungai Besar UMNO division head Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos was remanded for three days to help in the investigation on a case concerning firearms.

Selangor Criminal Investigation Department head SAC Fadzil Ahmat said the politician was remanded beginning today until Friday.

“The remand process for Jamal was made at the hospital after 10 am today,” he said when contacted here today.

Yesterday, Jamal was detained at the Hospital Pakar Ampang Puteri, Ampang following a report received by the police on May 12 that stated that Jamal deliberately exhibited his firearms in a photograph that later went viral.

The detention was made at the hospital as the chairman of the Gabungan NGO 1Malaysia was receiving treatment there. – BERNAMA
