SINGAPORE – Malaysian pop star, Datuk Jamal Abdillah and pop rock band from Indonesia, Noah, are honoured to perform at a charity concert at Resorts World Sentosa tonight.
Jamal and Noah, formerly known as Peterpan, are among other popular Malaysian artists including comedians Bocey and Jihan Muse, and Singapore singer, Taufik Batisah who will entertain their fans in the concert known as ‘Konsert Amal Tiga Negara’.
According to Jamal, the opportunity afforded by the concert organisers, Jamiyah Singapore, is one of the highest honours.
“I am grateful for my talent which can help certain parties like Jamiyah to raise funds for charity, this is a gift from God to me,” he told Bernama when met at a meet-the-fans session at Courts Megastore, Tampines here yesterday.
Meanwhile, the organising chairman, vice-president II of Jamiyah Singapore, Mohd Yunos Mohd Shariff said: “‘Konsert Amal 3 Negara’ is organised to raise funds for various charitable causes and community education.”
