SHAH ALAM – The police have completed the investigation paper on a tahfiz student allegedly assaulted by four seniors at the schools and will submit it to the Deputy Public Prosecutors’ Office for further action.
Selangor Criminal Investigation Department head SAC Fadzil Ahmat said police called the four senior students for investigation and recorded their statements last Tuesday after the victim’s mother lodged a report.
The four students were released on police bail after police recorded their statements, he said when contacted by Bernama.
In the incident, the victim claimed he was assaulted by his seniors for allegedly stealing their belongings.
The victim then reported the incident to his mother, who then took him to Shah Alam Hospital for treatment, where he was given out-patient treatment. – BERNAMA
